What the Sevenoaks office page is leaving on the table.

A walk-through of the live /sevenoaks-solicitors/ page on 25 May 2026.

01

No Sevenoaks lawyers named above the fold, no photograph of 46 London Road, no Aneeta Kang in the hero.

Observation
A line-by-line read of the served /sevenoaks-solicitors/ HTML on 25 May 2026 surfaces no Sevenoaks-based lawyer by name, no photograph of the 46 London Road frontage, and no mention of Aneeta Kang above the fold. Aneeta is described elsewhere on the site as "the face of the Sevenoaks Family department" (Law Society Advanced Family Law Panel accreditation, Resolution member, Partner since 2014). The Sevenoaks office page opens with three Salient-theme gradient cards (Buy. Sell. Both. / High Net Worth Specialists. / Prepare and Preserve. Dignified.) before the H1 even names the office, and the body copy leans on the generic line "Sevenoaks is defined by heritage, community, and quality".
Impact
A Sevenoaks resident comparing Manak against Knocker and Foskett, Thomson Snell and Passmore, Wellers or Thackray Williams is making a face-and-place decision in the first ten seconds: who is the lawyer at the Sevenoaks desk, what does the office look like, how long have they been on London Road. With Aneeta unnamed in the hero and no photograph of the building (despite the firm having a hi-res Interior-1300x867-1.jpg in its own media library) the page reads as a regional landing page rather than a Sevenoaks-anchored practice. The Family enquiries that Aneeta should be closing route to the older High Street firms whose office pages do show a face and a door.
After rebuild
After rebuild: hero leads with the 46 London Road interior photograph and names Aneeta Kang in the lede with her qualifying year (2012), Partner year (2014), Advanced Family Law Panel accreditation and the West Kent practice she runs. Jas Jandu and the Private Client / conveyancing team get a directors-row underneath. The "since May 2018, at 46 London Road since October 2019" continuity is one eyebrow line, not a hidden paragraph. The Sevenoaks office stops being a tab in a regional picker and starts being a London Road office with a face.
02

No LegalService or LocalBusiness JSON-LD on the Sevenoaks page, only firm-wide navigation schema.

Observation
The Sevenoaks page emits one JSON-LD block, class saswp-schema-markup-output, and its contents are exclusively SiteNavigationElement items for the firm-wide menu (Commercial Conveyancing, Family, Immigration, Property, Wills and Probate, etc.). There is no LegalService, no LocalBusiness, no Person for Aneeta or Jas, no FAQPage, no BreadcrumbList. The og:image is omitted entirely. The meta description is the generic "Your trusted local legal partner. Experience professional, tailored advice at our Sevenoaks office for Family Law, Immigration, Conveyancing, and beyond." with no mention of 46 London Road, TN13 1AS, Aneeta Kang or any West Kent-specific phrase.
Impact
Every "solicitors Sevenoaks", "family solicitor TN13", "conveyancer Sevenoaks", "wills LPA Sevenoaks" query is increasingly answered by Google rich snippets and AI assistants reading structured data first. With no LegalService schema the office cannot appear in those snippets at all; with no og:image the link-preview unfurl when someone shares the Sevenoaks URL on WhatsApp or LinkedIn is blank or shows the Manak fallback logo, not the building. The Browns Solicitors acquisition (Law Gazette, April 2025) ought to be the local press peg every Sevenoaks search lifts; without schema, Google cannot tell that the Sevenoaks office is part of the firm the article is about.
After rebuild
After rebuild: a single combined LegalService plus LocalBusiness JSON-LD block on the Sevenoaks page with the full PostalAddress (46 London Road, TN13 1AS), telephone in E.164 (+441732207207), email, opening hours, the lawyers as Person entries with their SRA identifiers (Aneeta 481628, Surinder 21698, Jas Jandu), areaServed of Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Westerham, Otford and the wider TN postcodes, Service entries for the four lines, plus FAQPage for the five questions actually asked at the front door. Meta description rewritten to name 46 London Road, Aneeta Kang, and Instant Instruct. og:image set to the 46 London Road interior photograph.
03

Instant Instruct, the trademark that distinguishes Manak from every heritage firm in Sevenoaks, is a button in the corner, not the headline.

Observation
Instant Instruct (the firm’s registered-trademark online instruction platform, live at i.manaksolicitors.co.uk) is referenced on the Sevenoaks page only as a small "Instruct" link in the navigation, plus a single "Instant Instruct" gradient card buried halfway down. The platform itself does what most Sevenoaks solicitors cannot: a client opens a file, gets a fixed-fee quote, completes ID and AML, and instructs in a single browser session, replacing the five-emails-over-a-week pattern of every other High Street firm. The AI Legalese Translator and the multilingual reception (English, French, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu) sit in the same category and are nowhere on the office page.
Impact
Sevenoaks is dense with heritage firms whose homepages lead with the year they were founded (1820, 1872, 1894). Manak’s competitive lane is the opposite: a 2003-founded modern-platform firm with the West Kent address attached. By relegating Instant Instruct to a navigation link the page hands the "modern, transparent, online-first" positioning back to firms that do not actually have a platform. A first-time conveyancing buyer in Sevenoaks searching "instant conveyancing quote Sevenoaks" finds no signal that Manak is the only firm in town that can answer in 90 seconds.
After rebuild
After rebuild: Instant Instruct is one of two pillars in the hero (the other is Aneeta and the Family desk), with a real "Get a quote in 90 seconds" call-to-action that deep-links into i.manaksolicitors.co.uk pre-filled for the Sevenoaks office. A dedicated Modern Platform section calls out Instant Instruct, the AI Legalese Translator, the multilingual reception (five languages), the wheelchair-accessible ground-floor premises, and the remote-meeting options (Zoom, Teams, FaceTime, WhatsApp). The page tells the truth about why a 2003 firm grew into West Kent without inheriting 200 years of letterhead.

Frequently asked

Five things worth answering before you reply.

How does this relate to the existing manaksolicitors.co.uk WordPress site?

It is a single-page rebuild of the /sevenoaks-solicitors/ route, designed to be lifted into the existing firm-wide site as a standalone Sevenoaks office page (the other three offices keep their current page). Two options on handover: (a) port the rebuild back into the Salient WordPress template that matches, so the firm-wide CMS keeps editing rights, or (b) host the Sevenoaks page on the Astro / Vercel build and 301 the old URL to it. Either way the rest of the firm-wide manaksolicitors.co.uk site is left alone. The Sevenoaks page is the unit of work, not the whole firm.

Why a Sevenoaks-only rebuild rather than a firm-wide one?

Because the Sevenoaks office has the most to gain. Multi-office solicitors are bought one office at a time: a Sevenoaks family-law enquiry is comparing Manak Sevenoaks against Knocker and Foskett, Thomson Snell and Passmore, Wellers or Thackray Williams, not against Manak Orpington. The current firm-wide template flattens that office-by-office competition. Fixing Sevenoaks first costs a fraction of a firm-wide rebuild and shows whether the structure (named lawyer above the fold, photograph of the door, Instant Instruct in the hero, schema on the office page) lifts the office’s share of "family solicitor Sevenoaks", "conveyancer TN13", "wills LPA Sevenoaks" search results. If it does, the same structure ports to Orpington, Gravesend and Biggin Hill.

What schema, exactly, gets added?

A single LegalService plus LocalBusiness JSON-LD block on the Sevenoaks office page with full PostalAddress (46 London Road, TN13 1AS), telephone in E.164 (+441732207207), email (info@manaksolicitors.co.uk), opening hours, and SRA Organisation 627738 as a credentialed identifier. Person entries for Aneeta Kaur Kang (SRA 481628, Family Director), Jasdeep Singh Jandu (Executive Director, Residential Property and Private Client) and Surinder Singh Manak (SRA 21698, Managing Director, founder). Four Service entries (Family law and divorce, Residential conveyancing and Instant Instruct, Wills / LPA / Probate, Multilingual and HNW). A FAQPage entry for the five questions on the page itself. The firm-wide Organization stays where it is; this is additive, not replacing.

Where does Instant Instruct sit in the rebuild without overshadowing the lawyers?

Instant Instruct gets a dedicated pillar in the hero (one of two, the other being Aneeta and the Family desk) with a 90-second quote CTA that deep-links into i.manaksolicitors.co.uk. Lower down, a Modern Platform section names Instant Instruct, the AI Legalese Translator, the multilingual reception across five languages (English, French, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu), the wheelchair-accessible ground-floor premises and the remote-meeting options. The lawyers stay foregrounded because every CTA in the hero routes either to the named lawyer or to Instant Instruct, not to a generic contact form. The platform earns its space because it is the one thing the heritage Sevenoaks firms cannot match, not because it replaces the people.

What does the fixed fee cover and what is excluded?

£2,000 covers the full Sevenoaks-office-page rebuild as described above: hero with named lawyer and 46 London Road photograph, directors-row, four-line service grid, Instant Instruct pillar, heritage band, FAQ, visit block with embedded map, full JSON-LD, meta and og tags, one round of revisions before publish, DNS or route handover. £150 per month covers ongoing hosting on Vercel (or the WP-port equivalent), monthly schema review as the team changes, security updates, monthly analytics email and one editorial change per month included. £50 per month optional embedded chatbot trained on the FAQs answers the five front-door questions in writing and routes anything novel to info@. Excluded: firm-wide rebrand work, the other three office pages, the firm-wide site navigation, the Instant Instruct platform itself (which already works), and any content the SRA wants restructured. If the rebuild lands and the firm wants the same treatment for Orpington, Gravesend or Biggin Hill, that is a separate scope at the same fixed-fee rate.

Next step

Reply if the rebuild is worth a thirty-minute call with Aneeta and the Sevenoaks desk.

If the proposal lands, reply with two or three 20-minute slots in the next ten days for a video call. I take on three West Kent and South-East-London builds this quarter, and first confirmed wins the slot. If I do not hear back by 4 June 2026, this proposal site comes down. No retainer, no contract, no in-person visits, fully remote from Switzerland.
